ACS Community Services Center invites applications for Licensed Psychotherapists
ACS Community Services is a private outpatient mental health group looking for Full-time Licensed Counselors (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFT) and Post-Master's Interns for our Aliante and Central office. Telehealth providers also being considered. Ability to work with Children/Adolescents/Families a plus. Must possess a master’s degree and licensed or licensed eligible in their respective discipline in the State of Nevada. We are looking for that gifted person who is optimistic, independent-minded, self-confident, with a positive sense of humor. If you possess good communication and active listening skills, an ability to calmly resolve conflict, are adaptive, warm, nurturing and have a commitment to making a difference with others then you are the person for our team. Ideal Candidate:
Ideal candidates for this position enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team dedicated to improving the lives of the individuals in our care. They display strong therapeutic boundaries and clinical skills, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and are passionate about improving the well-being of a vulnerable population.
Education:
Master's degree or higher in a behavioral/social science field from an accredited college or university
Experience:
Coursework and professional experience that indicates knowledge of mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosing and treatment of mental disorders, psychological assessment techniques, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation.
Licenses/Certifications:
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or similar licensure from the state in which services are being provided.
Current CPR Certification
Any other certifications (such as First Aid) required by contract
Psychotherapy: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Licensed LCSW, LMFT or LCPC (or intern) required (Required)
